f t. z. B.: Pilot [featuring zum Beispiel:Pilot] is the first round of a collaborative production chain that uses artistic cross-media translation to address and overcome creative blocks.The long term project ft. z. B. investigates surfaces as dynamic translation zones in artistic practices, where cross-media translation enables collaborative (knowledge) creation. ft. z. B. examines how such an expanded understanding of surface as a forum for discourse can foster empathy, challenge habitual thinking, and awaken creative capacities. The project creates networks between artists by circulating "stuck works" through translation processes, where participants transfer received materials into different media formats.
touché understands itself as a forum for fostering and mediating interdisciplinary artistic practices and discourses. As an art association based in Vienna, touché works independently of location and realizes projects without a fixed address. touché was founded this year by me together with Patrick Pazdzior.
